The real challenge with this kitchen was to produce a finished design and move to ordering within just a few days. The client came to us having become dissatisfied with her initial kitchen company, local to us. She needed to have the kitchen ordered immediately as there was a clause in her building management company contract that expressly forbade any work to take place in the building beyond a certain date. We had to move quickly, and took the design through its initial conception and a couple of revisions after only a couple of days, with some intensive client meetings, to arrive at the point where we could order from our suppliers in Germany.

The kitchen was ordered and duly arrived on time with us in Walton. It was immediately put in the back of one of our vans and shipped poste haste to the beautiful, affluent Sandbanks in Poole that evening, ready for fitting to begin the very next day. Fitting went smoothly and we beat the contract clock easily in the end, piece of cake!
This is a high-quality laminate handle-less kitchen by Impuls in a two-tone style, using light and dark concrete effect door fronts. The finger rail finished in stainless steel effect with a worktop in 30mm Calacatta Veneto Quartz. The room had a very odd angle to cope which meant some interesting corner pieces, which we handled through attention to detail in the design phase followed by excellent fitting work on-site.
Appliances were a 4-zone induction hob with in-cabinet extractor overhead by Smeg, oven and combi microwave by AEG, a 400mm wide under-counter wine cooler by Caple and sink and tap by Blanco. We provided the client with panelling to allow her to choose where to put the open shelving that she required in the room for displaying attractive objects. Happy with the choice of Ligneous she finished the whole renovation in time to keep the management happy!
