At Ligneous Kitchens we believe that every interior space has a great kitchen waiting inside, and it is our job to bring this out! We do this through listening to your ideas and taking the time to understand what you want and need for your space. For example, do you spend a lot of time with family? Do you enjoy cooking? Do you like natural materials, or light and dark colours? These types of questions form the basis of a detailed design brief, ensuring we can create a kitchen that is exactly right for you.
What We Need From You?
Although we can visit you at home if you prefer, we find the best place to begin the kitchen design process is with an appointment in our Walton-on-Thames kitchen showroom. At this first meeting it is really helpful if you can please bring a basic drawing and some photos of your kitchen, as well as any inspirational images you have found, whether from Houzz, Pinterest, or a magazine cut-out. This helps us understand what you want to achieve, and from here, we can fully explore our diverse range of products together, helping you make the right choices in line with your taste and budget expectations.
What’s Next?
Once the brief has been taken, Ligneous Kitchens will propose an initial concept, working with you to further shape this until its where you need it to be. We will then present our plans and 3D visualizations for final approval. Once approved the kitchen is scheduled, with most projects taking between 8-16 weeks from sign-off to completion. The schedule is dependent on the complexity of the kitchen as well as the amount of build and structural work to be undertaken to prepare the space for installation.

Whether it is a small kitchen remodel, a kitchen extension project requiring building works or even a commercial project, Ligneous Kitchens can help. We offer every level of service necessary to complete your new kitchen, including plumbing, plastering, electrics, larger building works, and Interior Design. We can also liaise with your builder should you prefer your kitchen on a supply only basis.
Dedicated Kitchen Installers
We have longstanding relationships with our tradesmen, all of whom are polite and highly professional furniture installers. Each employs skilled practices combined with a dedicated outlook to ensure the best possible look and finish for your beautiful new kitchen. The installation will take on average between 1-2 weeks for the furniture, and then a further 1-2 weeks for any work surfaces, splash backs and final connection of plumbing and electrics. Throughout works we will keep you up to date on progress, and when finished your space will be returned to you clean and tidy, and with every detail having been checked to ensure it meets up to our expected high standard of finish.
